Spectators For Grades 7-12 Athletics
Dear parents/guardians,
We would like to take a quick moment to update everyone on the changing expectations around spectators for Chinook's Edge sporting events. Until yesterday morning the expectation from CESD was that for athletics grades 9-12 one spectator per student athlete was allowed provided they wore a mask while in the building/gym and that they did not have symptoms listed on the AHS Covid-19 checklist prior to entry. Yesterday it was communicated to schools that CESD would be amending this expectation to now allow one spectator per student athlete grades 7-12 provided the same conditions for masking and symptoms were met. This group of spectators is still limited to one per athlete and does not include large groups of students coming in to watch school teams compete.
With this said all of us at HSS are excited to welcome one spectator per student back into our building to watch our students compete!
