Alison Laidlaw

I feel so lucky to be back in a rural school setting - I may never drive past Balzac Costco again! I live in Cochrane with my husband, John, and our two dogs. We have four kids who are at various stages of independence. My son and twin daughters are in University, but the first one is 'off the books'. My oldest daughter and I have finally hit the stage where we can have our horses in the same boarding barn and she pays her own board. Although my major was in English and Social Studies, I have taught everything from K/Gr1 PE to Social 30-2. The hardest to date was 32 four and five year olds. I love reading, writing, and riding, and helping kids realize their potential and power.
