Tyson Youngs

My name is Mr. Youngs.  I will be teaching grade 5 this year.  Although this is my first year at Hugh Sutherland School, it will be my 14 with the school division.  I have been a PE teacher and Athletic Director for most of that time but I am very excited to be making the shift to a classroom.

I live on an acreage just outside of town, with my wife, 2 kids that go to school in Carstairs, and 2 dogs.  When I’m not at school, I’m usually either coaching, camping or playing sports.
